Cathay Pacific Offers Triple the Miles; Twice the Choice
SAN FRANCISCO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Starting June 15th, passengers traveling in Cathay Pacific’s premium class cabins across the Pacific will be eligible to earn triple miles in their choice of two reward programs – Asia Miles or AAdvantage®.
“Triple miles are even better when you have a choice of programs,” said Dennis Owen, Cathay Pacific’s vice president – marketing, Americas. “You get to choose Cathay Pacific for outstanding service and you get to select from two great programs in which to earn triple miles. It will make relaxing in our new lie-flat Business and First Class seats all the more enjoyable.”

Named “Airline of the Year” in the recent Skytrax World Airline Awards, Cathay Pacific flies Boeing 777-300ER and 747-400 aircraft to Hong Kong 49 times a week from the United States. Twice daily service is also available to Hong Kong from Vancouver onboard Airbus A340-300 and Boeing 777-300ER airplanes.
Passengers will earn a minimum of 40,000 miles through this offer. Additionally, they may participate in the offer an unlimited number of times.
Triple miles may be earned by flying roundtrip in First Class (fare classes F and A) or in Business Class (fare classes J, C, D and I) between Los Angeles, New York (JFK) or San Francisco and Hong Kong. Travel must originate in the United States. However, passengers residing in the US may also earn triple miles flying roundtrip between Vancouver, Canada, and Hong Kong. Complete roundtrip itinerary must be flown between June 15, 2009 and August 15, 2009.
