Diamond H Client Honored by Recognition Professionals International for its Commitment to Recognition Best Practices
FORT WORTH, Texas--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Diamond H, a leading provider of total recognition and service award programs, is honored to have one of their key partners, Delta Air Lines, honored as the 2009 Best Overall Winner for the Recognition Professionals International (RPI) Best Practices Award. This award quantifies Delta’s dedication to its employees and their importance to the organization.
“The receipt of this prestigious award is really the capstone to the work Delta has put into building a culture of recognition,” stated Kimberly Smithson-Abel, VP of Strategy and Business Development at Diamond H Recognition. “The return on investment (ROI) generated through Delta’s recognition programs was measured in the thousands of percent and has been a key to gauging success and obtaining management support,” she added. “The ROI has allowed the organization to maintain and even increase the level of investment for recognition.”
In order to receive this award, Delta was judged based on its alignment with RPI’s seven Recognition Best Practice Standards. These standards were developed as the result of research around what constitutes a successful recognition program. According to the organization. The seven RPI Best Practice Standards assessed in the judging process include: Strategy, Management Involvement, Measurement, Communications, Training, Events and Celebrations, and Change and Flexibility.
In order to be selected as the Best Overall recipient, Delta had to excel within each standard and demonstrate a unified approach toward utilizing each standard. The RPI Best Practice Standards Awards also presents Best in Class awards to those organizations that exemplify sound recognition practices in one particular Best Practice Standard.
“Delivering a quantifiable return on Delta’s investment has been a key to the program’s success,” stated Michael Cobb, President of Diamond H Recognition. “The ROI reporting and financial modeling available in our InspirusTMCatalyst platform helps make recognition real and allows business leaders, such as those at Delta, to obtain evidence of its impact on the organization.”
