US Airways Says ‘Hallo!’ to New Philadelphia – Oslo, Norway Service
PHILADELPHIA--(BUSINESS WIRE)--US Airways (NYSE:LCC) inaugurates the airline’s first-ever service to Oslo, Norway today from its hub and international gateway at Philadelphia International Airport. The Oslo service is the second phase of US Airways’ expanding trans-Atlantic schedule in 2009. Flights to Birmingham, U.K. began last week, and in just five weeks US Airways begins service to Tel Aviv. In total, US Airways customers will have access to 23 trans-Atlantic destinations this summer.
Oslo is the airline’s second Scandinavian destination after Stockholm, Sweden. This seasonal flying will be operated with Boeing 757 ETOPS aircraft configured with 12 seats in Envoy, US Airways’ trans-Atlantic business class, and 164 seats in the main cabin.
