ASRC Management Services to Provide Engineering and Maintenance Support to the FAA’s William J. Hughes Technical Center
GREENBELT, Md.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--ASRC Management Services is part of a team led by Enroute Computer Solutions that has been selected by the Federal Aviation Administration to provide engineering, maintenance and related support services for the FAA’s National AirSpace System under the Service Operations Support (SOS-8) contract.
Under the contract, Enroute Computer Solutions, ASRC Management Services and their teammates will conduct second-level system maintenance, assist with system restoration, develop and test engineering solutions, conduct engineering studies and analyze alternatives, and manage configuration and documentation.
The contract includes a one-year base period and six one-year options, and is valued at a total of more than $207 million if all options are exercised. Work under the contract will be performed primarily at the FAA’s William J. Hughes Technical Center, Egg Harbor Township, NJ.
ASRC Management Services will be the largest subcontractor to Enroute Computer Solutions and will be responsible for a significant share of the work under this contract. Other teammates include JVN Communications, Inc., Dynamic Security Concepts, Inc., SRA International, and BCI.
As the prime contractor ASRC Management Services also supports FAA at the Mike Monroney Aeronautical Center in Oklahoma City, OK, through the National Airways System Engineering Support Services contract awarded in 2007.
