Boeing & US Army to Present at 6th Annual Project Flow 2009 Conference

SAN JOSE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--At Realization Technologies’ sixth annual customer conference, Project Flow 2009, on September 9 to 11 at San Francisco’s Westin St. Francis Hotel, attendees will share presentations, workshops, speeches and discussions on how organizations can execute more projects faster.

“Being able to hear actual execution management practitioners showcase their successes is extremely valuable to us all,” explains Sanjeev Gupta, Realization Technologies CEO. “From them, we can pick up tips and learn how to be even more successful with our own execution management activities. We especially look forward to discovering how Boeing and the US Army have done so well.”

On June 7, 2009, Boeing Integrated Defense Systems at El Segundo Satellite Development Center received an achievement award for its demonstrated longevity in the successful use of Theory of Constraints (TOC) tools and significant contribution to the TOC community from the Theory of Constraints International Certification Organization (TOCICO) at its North American Conference in Tacoma, Wash. At Project Flow 2009, Boeing will explain why they were chosen for the prestigious award.

Army Fleet Support (AFS) maintains a fleet of captive military helicopters, which are used to train pilots. A typical project is an intermediate level MRO, i.e. maintenance after 200-700 hours of flying operation. The business need was to increase aircrafts availability for training by increasing throughput and reducing cycle time. The remarkable results (more than 40% reduction in cycle time) at AFS demonstrate that Critical Chain Execution Management is applicable to not only depot level MRO but also to intermediate level MRO. The AFS team will share their solution, insights, and lessons learned.

Speakers will include Patrick Lencioni, acclaimed author of books like The Five Dysfunctions of a Team and The Four Obsessions of an Extraordinary Executive. Throughout the conference, participants will be encouraged to network and share ideas.
