AirPlus Releases Survey Highlighting the Current Industry Emphasis on Meeting Spend

The survey found that travel managers are getting involved as economic woes push corporations to improve meetings visibility. In fact, meetings are on the radar with 52% of the corporate travel professionals surveyed as “very involved” or “involved” in the planning and sourcing meetings, and another 33% stating they assist in the process. Another question posed was whether a current meeting policy existed and 58% of respondents stated they have a policy, but that number is halved by those that enforce it.
