New CEO for Optimized Systems and Solutions
RESTON, Va.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Optimized Systems and Solutions (OSyS), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Rolls-Royce plc, has appointed Paul Inman as president and chief executive officer. In this capacity, Inman oversees OSyS business operations worldwide, with 400 employees supporting customers in more than 100 countries.
OSyS enhances customers’ business performance by delivering software and services which reduce operating costs and optimize the availability of high-value equipment.

Inman has 10 years of experience with Rolls-Royce. He joins OSyS from the company’s Civil Aerospace business, where he was previously Senior Vice President - Service Business Operations, leading the management of Rolls-Royce TotalCare® services for large engine products. Prior to that, Inman held a series of increasingly senior roles in finance, business development and general management.
Before joining Rolls-Royce, Inman spent seven years on the corporate finance team of Ernst & Young, followed by two years in the UK venture capital market. Inman holds an engineering science degree from Oxford University and is a qualified chartered accountant.
Inman will be based at OSyS headquarters in Reston, Va., and succeeds Henner Wapenhans, who was recently appointed customer executive and in-country executive manager North America for Rolls-Royce Civil Nuclear.
