Air New Zealand’s Matchmaking Flight Set for Takeoff

EL SEGUNDO, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Love is in the air and will take flight on October 13^th, 2009, with singles looking for romance and adventure on Air New Zealand’s Matchmaking Flight. The world-first singles cabin is close to capacity, with love-seeking travelers joining ABC’s “The Bachelor” Jason Mesnick and girlfriend Molly Malaney on board the journey from Los Angeles to Auckland, New Zealand. The matchmaking experience will kick off with a party at the departure gate, followed by matchmaking advice from Mesnick and Malaney, complimentary party packs, an open bar, and in-flight activities designed to find each passenger their perfect match.

Once in Auckland, Matchmaking Flight passengers will mix with single New Zealanders at the ultimate South Pacific coupling experience. The Great Matchmaking Party will kick off with a cocktail pre-party at 6:30 p.m. at SKYCITY’s ultra-glam new bar, “twentyone” and at 7:30 p.m. guests will move onto the official bash at The Wharf on Northcote Point.
