Blue Sky Network and Trindigo Integrate GPS Flight Tracking into Aviation Management SaaS

LA JOLLA, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Blue Sky Network, a leading global provider of GPS tracking and communication solutions for land, sea, and aviation assets, today announced that Trindigo, a web-based provider of flight operations management software, has integrated Blue Sky Network’s GPS tracking and automated flight following technology into its aviation management suite. This partnership enables charter and contract aircraft managers to continuously monitor the location of their flights within Trindigo’s web-based solution using Blue Sky’s near real-time GPS data.

Flight operations management is a complex and time-sensitive task. For busy aviation managers, keeping close track of both their aircraft’s location as well as their maintenance and flight schedule, flight personnel, expenses, and more is a laborious endeavor. Trindigo’s is the first SaaS operations management tool to make these tasks manageable and combines them with the near real-time flight following capabilities from Blue Sky Network.

“Blue Sky Network’s technology allows us to provide a one-stop shop for flight tracking and aircraft management,” said Daniel Tharp, Trindigo’s CEO. “We are always looking for ways to streamline operations for our customers and with Blue Sky’s GPS tracking technology we have taken this another step further. Managing a fleet has never been easier.”

Blue Sky Network’s SkyRouter, a web-based asset tracking service that allows users to remotely keep track of dispersed fleets worldwide, will now be easily accessible within Trindigo’s flight management suite. Via a Google-powered map, aviation managers can see up-to-date GPS location data sent directly from Blue Sky’s flight tracking transceivers, such as the D1000A, D2000A or the new portable D410A. In addition, Trindigo customers can manage an array of operational duties including scheduling, financial reporting, and aircraft maintenance from this full-featured solution.

“Trindigo and Blue Sky Network are very synergistic partners,” said Jon Gilbert, Founder and CEO, Blue Sky Network. “Our similar goals of optimizing flight management information for customers resulted in this integration of our technologies, which will give our mutual customers the ability to monitor every aspect of their fleets from one application.”
