CPI Aero Announces $1.8 Million Production Program Order from Major Aerospace Prime Contractor
EDGEWOOD, N.Y.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--CPI Aerostructures, Inc. (“CPI Aero®”) (NYSE Amex: CVU) announced today that it has received a purchase order from a leading global aerospace and defense company to produce aircraft structural assemblies, valued at $1.8 million. Work on this order will commence immediately and deliveries will run from April 2010 through September 2010.
CPI Aero has received five previous orders for this assembly from the same customer and is currently completing a contract that was awarded in July 2007.
