DISCUS Selects Acuity as VAR for Western US
COLUMBUS, Ohio--(BUSINESS WIRE)--DISCUS Software Company, which specializes in tools to accelerate manufacturing and quality engineering, announced that it has selected Acuity as a Premier Value Added Reseller for the Western United States.
This agreement will result in Acuity handing sales, training, and support for DISCUS products in the Western US. They will focus on providing solutions for first article inspection, inspection planning, and process planning. This will include DISCUS Basic, OCR, Results, and Planner, with other modules to be added later.
Paul Stevens, Acuity’s president said, “Although we represent some of the leading engineering software packages, we felt that the DISCUS suite of tools fills an important gap which exists for manufacturing and quality engineers. We’re very excited about how it complements our other PLM tools.”
Bob Roush, DISCUS General Manager said, “Acuity has sales and support in the states of California, Oregon, and Washington and they already handle a range of PLM software such as Dassault CATIA and Siemens NX. We feel that their presence in the Western US can provide even greater satisfaction to DISCUS customers.”
