OSI Systems Announces Inclusion of Four Products on TSA Technology List for Air Cargo Inspection

HAWTHORNE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--OSI Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ:OSIS), a vertically-integrated provider of specialized electronic products for critical applications in the Security and Healthcare industries, today announced that the Rapiscan 620DV, Rapiscan 632DV, Rapiscan 638DV and Rapiscan MVXR5000 have been included on the Transportation and Security Administration’s (“TSA”) Candidate Technology List for Air Cargo Inspection.

The TSA’s Certified Cargo Screening Program requires 100% inspection of air cargo carried on passenger airplanes by August 2010. To date the Company’s air cargo products have been deployed by a range of air cargo companies, including Indirect Air Carriers (IACs), passenger and cargo-only airlines, freight forwarders and other commercial freight companies.
