Qantas Partners with Tourism New Zealand Offering Flights from $798* from L.A. or San Francisco to Auckland, New Zealand
LOS ANGELES--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Qantas Airways today introduced a joint promotion with Tourism New Zealand and Qantas Vacations offering special air and package prices. Round trip economy airfares from Los Angeles or San Francisco to Auckland, New Zealand, start from just $798* plus tax for travel from May 1 to June 8, 2010, with ticketing required by September 15, 2009. Special offers for other departure dates including New Zealand’s summer season (November – February) are also available.
Qantas Vacations three-night vacation packages start at $299 per person double occupancy and Qantas Vacations are offering a free flight to New Zealand’s South Island with the purchase of any 9-night package plus economy round trip Qantas airfare from Los Angeles or San Francisco.
Qantas Airways Senior Executive Vice President, The Americas and Pacific, Mr. Wally R. Mariani, A.M., said, “With these offers and the added benefit of very favorable currency exchange rates, there has never been a better time for Americans to break from their daily routine for a life-changing experience in New Zealand.”
The promotional campaign supports Tourism New Zealand’s “LifeBack Promise” initiative, launched earlier this year to raise awareness and encourage travel to this beautiful destination.
“This is the ideal time to book a vacation to New Zealand,” said Annie Dundas, Regional Manager North America for Tourism New Zealand. “These offers provide exceptional value, whether travellers choose to visit during the upcoming New Zealand summer or book ahead for next year to take advantage of major cost savings.”
