Constant Aviation Completes First Embraer Legacy 600 Install of Aircell High Speed Internet System
RICHMOND HEIGHTS, Ohio--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Constant Aviation, LLC, a Nextant Aerospace company headquartered at Cleveland Hopkins International Airport, delivered the first Embraer Legacy 600 with Aircell Axxess® and ATG 4000 High Speed Internet System. “Not only did Constant Aviation perform the 48 Month Inspection in 30 days but simultaneously was able to install the Aircell High Speed Internet system as well,” said Kurt Keyes, Lead Pilot.
The Aircell Axxess® system along with the ATG 4000 provides worldwide Iridium voice telephone service and broadband data in the continental United States. The system is an affordable solution in business aviation that provides a true high speed Internet experience that equals what passengers are accustomed to on the ground. It is up to 56 times faster than a traditional dial-up connection, yet it is small and light enough to fit on virtually any business aircraft. An Aircell High Speed Internet unit for business aviation weighs just 11 pounds and its two belly-mounted antennae weigh just 1.25 pounds each. This new system is in high demand from business aviation operators and aircraft owners.
