Follow Cathay Pacific All the Way to Hong Kong
SAN FRANCISCO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Cathay Pacific Airways announced an exciting new contest on Twitter, taking the word “follow” to a whole new level. The “Follow the Crew Dolls” contest features the limited edition Cathay Pacific historical uniform dolls which showcase the airline’s uniforms for the past 63 years.
From Oct. 28-Nov. 5, Twitter users following @CathayPacificUS will receive a tweet hinting that the doll could be anywhere in the world. By tweeting the correct city back to @CathayPacificUS, an entry with the correct answer will be randomly selected to win the doll. Everyone who tweeted the correct answer that day will also be eligible to be entered into a grand prize drawing for a pair of roundtrip tickets to Hong Kong and the entire collection of dolls in a special display case.
From the original military-inspired navy blue dress to the red Chinese-style skirt of the 60’s to the streamlined, modern design of today’s uniform, each uniform represents the change and growth of the airline for the past six decades. Tokyo, Bangkok or Singapore – where will the crew doll take us next? Find out for yourself and play for a chance to win a pair of tickets to Hong Kong!
“At Cathay Pacific, our goal is to make customers feel happy that they chose to fly with us. We strive to engage with, and listen to them, and Twitter has been a valuable platform for us to do so. This is our way to thank our loyal followers on Twitter, because we appreciate their business and their support,” says Dennis Owen, Vice President Marketing for the Americas.
The “Follow the Crew Dolls” contest on Twitter will run from Oct. 28–Nov. 5 during a limited time slot each day. Additional contest rules and regulations may apply. Follow us on Twitter at www.twitter.com/CathayPacificUS for more information.
