Frontier Airlines to Provide Travelers with Flexibility in Advance of Winter Storm

DENVER--(BUSINESS WIRE)--In response to a forecast for significant snow in the Denver Metro area on Wednesday, Oct. 28, 2009, Frontier Airlines has put the following travel policy guidelines into place for all customers scheduled to travel on Oct. 28 and 29, 2009, who purchased tickets on or before Oct. 27, 2009:

For customers who have already started their travel, rules and restrictions regarding standard change fees, advance purchase, day or time applications, blackouts and minimum or maximum stay requirements have been waived. Origin and destination cities must remain the same. Changes must be made by midnight, Oct. 29, 2009, and travel completed by Nov. 5, 2009.

For customers who have not begun travel, they may make one change to their travel plans without a change fee. All rescheduled travel may be subject to higher fares if it does not meet the original rule or booking class.

Frontier urges those with flexibility in their travel to please consider traveling at an earlier time or date. You can check schedule availability on FrontierAirlines.com. If you are interested in traveling on an earlier flight, please call our reservations center at 1-800-432-1359 or visit the ticket counter at your departing airport. To avoid lines at the airport Frontier recommends customers check in online within 24 hours of their departure time.

Frontier has also established a Twitter account with the sole purpose of providing operational updates due to inclement weather. Follow us at twitter.com/FrontierStorm for real-time updates on our operation throughout this winter storm.
