InJet Selects Lydian Bank & Trust in New Jet Card Program
WEST PALM BEACH, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--In a turbulent economy, InJet (www.injet.com) is making sure it’s nothing but smooth sailing for its clients. The Florida-based private jet services provider announced today that it has selected Lydian Bank & Trust as the financial institution that will secure the funds of its members.
Through the newly established relationship, InJet will offer its members access to FDIC-insured accounts. The funds are to be prepaid by members in amounts equal to their program participation and released to InJet when flight activity is completed.
“We needed a reputable, high-end financial institution to ensure our members’ funds would be safe and properly managed by a leading firm,” InJet’s Chief Financial Officer Jeffry Coursey said. “Lydian Bank & Trust mirrors the transparency, flexibility and high standards that InJet offers its clients.”
Lydian Bank & Trust will take a lead role once a member has joined InJet by working directly with the member in the transfer of funds, account setup, reporting and member access to the account. In this lead role, Lydian Bank & Trust will remain an assigned account representative for the member to discuss and manage any matters concerning the account through the member’s term.
Lydian Bank & Trust Executive Managing Director Bill VanDresser sees the banking opportunities the program is offering, saying, “the uniqueness of the InJet program is something we see as a great way to expand Lydian’s services to qualified clientele.”
InJet is set to launch its fleet membership program later this month. The program offers domestic and international private air travel at competitive rates and flexible times. Clients can purchase flight time in blocks of 25, 50 or 100 hours—or on a trip-by-trip basis. InJet is also offering its Touch 10 jet card, which gives clients entry-level jet membership opportunities without large capital outlay.
“Our industry has not been immune from the existing economic crunch, and as a result, some travelers have been affected by programs that could not honor their member commitments, which resulted in a loss of service or lost prepaid funds,” said Anthony Johns, InJet’s vice president of sales and marketing. “Our partnership with Lydian offers a transparent package that rivals any other in the industry and peace of mind with guaranteed, secured funds for our members.”
