VT Group Wins Contract for Support to U.S. Army Program Management Office for CH-47 Cargo Helicopters
WASHINGTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--VT Group U.S., an industry leader in the delivery of customer-critical services to government agencies and U.S. arm of U.K.-based VT Group plc (VTG.L), has been awarded a contract to provide logistics analyses, maintain and update logistics information management systems and provide logistics support related to the operational objectives of the U.S. Army Program Management Office for CH-47 Cargo Helicopters.
This contract was awarded by the Army Aviation and Missile Command (AMCOM), CH-47D and CH-47F Logistics and Sustainment Support task order. The contract has a potential value of $29.1 million over five years.
Under the terms of the contract, VT Group’s Technical Services Division – formerly known as VT Aepco – will provide contractor services and deliverables through performance of CH-47D and CH-47F logistics fleet management, sustainment, CH-47F product manager, foreign military sales and sustainment support related to all 450 CH-47 cargo helicopters in the fleet. This encompasses logistic support to be performed for the CH-47D/CH-47F programs, sub systems, product improvements, Army Transformation Plan for CH-47. In addition, VT Group will provide development of training devices along with a full range of training analyses and execution.
