Air China Awarded at China Securities Market Conference

BEIJING, December 4 /PRNewswire/ -- Air China has won the 'Golden Tripod Award' at the Fifth Annual China Securities Market Conference. Members of Air China's management attended the conference and accepted the award on behalf of Air China.

Established by the Securities Newspaper Agency, the annual China Securities Market Conference is a year-end summit on China's securities markets, which acts as a platform for delegates to establish dialogue and exchange ideas. The conference organization committee awards six prizes that are based on the financial performance of Chinese firms over the previous five quarters. When making their decision, the committee considers company management, risk management, investor relations, and social responsibility. The 'Golden Tripod Award' is awarded to a blue-chip Chinese company which is a pillar in the securities market, and represents China's burgeoning economy. Other companies that received this award include the Industrial and Commercial Bank and Sinopec.
Air China's shares are listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, the London Stock Exchange, and the Shanghai Stock Exchange. In recent years, Air China has seen substantial improvement in its business performance, strategy development, and operations.
