UBM Aviation Announces Executive Appointments in Marketing and Sales

CHICAGO, December 21 /PRNewswire/ -- UBM Aviation (), a provider of aviation data products, publications and events for the global aviation community recently appointed Jan Wood as Vice President of Marketing and Stephen Baggett as Director of Cargo Sales, Americas. The appointments are part of UBM Aviation's plan to expand its information services offerings.

Ms. Wood, a travel-industry veteran, joins UBM Aviation after 11 years with Teradata, a global leader in enterprise business intelligence. At Teradata, she was a senior partner in the travel industry consulting practice and was responsible for developing innovate business improvements for all sectors of the travel industry. Prior to Teradata, Ms. Wood was Vice President of Product Marketing, Distribution and Sales at Trans World Airlines. She held numerous staff and field positions across TWA in marketing, operations and information technology. Ms. Wood is responsible for marketing UBM Aviation's portfolio of aviation and cargo businesses, including OAG ().
Mr. Baggett joins UBM Aviation from APL Logistics and brings 20 years of experience in business development, account management and sales and marketing management in international air and ocean transportation and logistics. Prior to APL Logistics, Mr. Baggett was with GE Information Services (GEIS) in product management, business consulting, business development and sales and channel management. He was also previously with Sabre Holdings Corporation providing global transportation, ecommerce solutions and services throughout the Americas. At UBM Aviation, he is responsible for OAG Cargo sales in the Americas.
Ms. Wood and Mr. Baggett are based in UBM Aviation's Chicago, IL office.
