Dépèche transmise le 28 janvier 2010 par PRNewswire
BANGKOK, January 28 /PRNewswire/ -- Thai Airways International Public Company Limited won the prestigious "Suriyasasithorn" calendar design awards for 2010 in two categories: Best General Notebook Calendar and Best Creativity and Design. The awards were given by the Public Relations Society of Thailand. To mark its 50th anniversary, THAI created the 'A Journey of Silk' calendar to greet Thai and international passengers worldwide and spread joy during the holiday season. Each calendar is beautifully adorned with Thai silk intricately made by Thai artisans.
A Journey of Silk is a concept telling the story of THAI's journey as Thailand's national carrier over the past 50 years. THAI is a cultural ambassador that showcases the uniqueness and culture of Thailand internationally through THAI employees worldwide who provide top quality services. The calendar is also a comprehensive archive of THAI as an airline covering the world with extensive networks to cities around the world. It depicts THAI's journey to success and the changes and developments that the national carrier has gone through over the past 50 years. These changes and developments include service improvements, adding new routes, award receptions, establishing new agencies to facilitate passengers and joining the Star Alliance (as a founding member) to improve network coverage.
