Dépèche transmise le 5 juillet 2010 par PRNewswire
BEIJING, July 5, 2010 /PRNewswire/ -- In order to save passengers valuable time, as well as make travelling more convenient, Air China has made three types of flight schedules available to download from the Air China website. Air China updates the schedules on the first day of each month (12 times a year) in order to provide passengers with the latest and most accurate flight information.

Passengers can now access the latest flight information
Air China's printed version of its flight schedule contains all the information that travelers might need. Passengers are able to use it to find complete flight information, such as Air China's scheduled flights, code-shared flights, connecting flights transferring through Beijing within 4 hours, travel times and terminal building numbers. This bilingual PDF version is updated monthly, and passengers can download it by logging onto Air China's website. They can also choose to print the entire document or just sections of it.
From ticket buying guides to interactive trip schedules
Unlike the all-purpose nature of the printed schedule, Air China's interactive schedule is more specific. It is tailored for those who need point-to-point information. Besides flight information, other relevant information is also included, such as in-flight meals, travel distances, seat pictures, and information on flights connecting within 6 hours. After installing this schedule on their computers, passengers are able to check their information anywhere and anytime, even if internet connectivity is unavailable. The interactive schedule is also updated monthly.
Personal Digital Assistant- The PDA schedule
Air China's PDA schedule is tailored for businesspeople. The content of the PDA schedule is the same as that of the interactive one but it is designed for installation in mobile communications devices, such as PDA computers and mobile phones. This schedule is convenient for businesspeople that travel frequently.
Compared with traditional paper schedules, Air China's newly launched downloadable schedules offer great advantages; monthly updates make the information accurate and up-to-date, the tailored schedules better meet different passengers' specific needs, and off-line search is now more efficient and convenient. Passengers can log onto Air China's website ( ), and select Travel Information/ Flight Information/ Flight Schedule, where they are then able to access the three types of schedules.
