Dépèche transmise le 21 juillet 2010 par PRNewswire
FARNBOROUGH, England, July 21, 2010 /PRNewswire/ -- Dassault Falcon enrolled today its 100th FalconCare(R) customer in the guaranteed maintenance cost program for Falcon aircraft. The 100th customer, Abelag Aviation, is a well known FBO, aircraft management, charter and maintenance provider with four facilities in Belgium and France. Their managed fleet includes a 2000EX EASy, a 2000LX, and a 7X - to be delivered soon, all of which are enrolled in FalconCare(R).
First introduced in 2005, FalconCare(R) is designed to guarantee predictability in the budgeting process, which makes owning and operating a Falcon easier and more efficient. The program guarantees predictability for a flight department's budget plan by providing fixed costs for all scheduled and unscheduled maintenance and routine inspections based upon flight activity. Today, half of all new Falcon aircraft sold are enrolled in FalconCare(R).
"Being able to predictably forecast our maintenance costs with FalconCare(R) has made our Falcons the most efficient tools in our fleet," said Herve Laitat, General Manager of Abelag Aviation. "The program is also very convenient for us in that we can utilize any facility in Dassault's worldwide service center network."
All Airworthiness Directives and Dassault Service Bulletins that enhance dispatch reliability are included under the FalconCare(R) program. In addition, it covers the cost of all operational and maintenance documentation. Falcon operators enrolled in the program can also get discounts on all pilot and maintenance training with Dassault's training provider, CAE SimuFlite.
Operators enrolled in FalconCare(R) have the option of adding coverage for all shipping and freight for spare parts as well as AOG support services, which guarantees the coverage of all costs to return an aircraft to service, anywhere in the world.
