Seawings: A New Plan for a New Future
Dépèche transmise le 18 octobre 2010 par PRNewswire
DUBAI, UAE, October 18, 2010 /PRNewswire/ -- Seawings the only seaplane tour operator in the UAE is in the process of launching their brand new website. Fun and easy to use, the website will feature important information on the company and some of their spectacular aerial sightseeing tours as well as contact details and a tool for booking online.
Begun in August 2007, Seawings offers its guests the chance to see Dubai as never before with their unique tours. These aerial excursions travel over famous landmarks such as the Burj Al Arab, Burj Khalifa, Palm Jumeirah, World islands and the Dubai Creek with the stunning blue coastline of the state as the backdrop.
"Plans for the new and improved website have been in the works for a long time" said new Marketing and Communications Manager Carine Duvignaud. "The original idea was to create a website that would provide guests with an idea of what Seawings was about and to make the flight booking process easier". With this in mind, the first Seawings website was launched.
Why then such emphasis on a new website? According to Ms Duvignaud the old design was neither very attractive or functional. "When people log on to our website we want them to understand our concept immediately and see that our product is fun, educational and a once in a lifetime experience that should not be missed".
The development of the new Seawings website is progressing well. The web address will include more options for users and have added treats like the Seawings video, industry news and their very own corporate webpage. Web developers Siworks hope to have the project completed by the end of this month and Seawings is scheduled to officially launch the website around that time.
Notes to Editors:
Based at Jebel Ali Golf Resort and Spa, Seawings began operating with one aircraft and a handful of staff. Today the company has grown to include three Cessna 208 Caravan amphibious aircraft and a staff base of over 70.
The Seawings experience leaves its guests in awe as they are whisked to 1500 feet past some of the world's most iconic landmarks, for memories that last a lifetime. Offering up to 16 flights per day, leaving every 30 minutes, as well as a choice of various tour options, Seawings caters to the needs of the individuals, groups, corporate, incentives, tourists and residents.
