AXON Aviation Charter Appoints Richard Walker

LONDON, January 19, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- AXON Aviation Charter Limited has appointed Richard Walker to the position of Business Development Director.
Joining the company from Vista Jet, where he held the position of Senior Vice President - Programme Sales, Richard Walker brings more than 20 years of aviation sector experience to AXON.

Richard Walker will be based at the AXON Aviation Charter Limited office at Leeds Bradford Airport, UK.
About Richard Walker
During his 10 years with British Airways Operator Maersk Air, Richard worked in both sales and commercial management and was responsible for building aircraft charter into a highly profitable multi million pound division. His move into private aviation came with his role as Sales Manager for Geneva-based PrivatAir, during which time he developed the brokerage side of the business and managed new charter flying on the Airbus A319 fleet. Richard joined Bombardier in 2004 as UK Sales Director with additional responsibility for developing territories including Eastern Europe and Russia. During his tenure Richard achieved sales in his region in excess of 60% compared to target.
