Park Electrochemical Corp. Announces Appointment of Doug Leys as Vice President and Senior Technologist
MELVILLE, N.Y.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Park Electrochemical Corp. (NYSE:PKE) announced the appointment of W. Douglas Leys as Vice President and Senior Technologist. In this new position, Mr. Leys will report to Christopher T. Mastrogiacomo, Senior Vice President of Strategic Marketing of Park Electrochemical Corp.
Prior to this appointment, Mr. Leys was Director of Advanced Material Applications of Park Electrochemical Corp. since May 2010. Prior to May 2010, Mr. Leys had been Director of Research and Development of Park since January 2007 and Director of Technology of Park from April 1990 to January 2007. Prior to joining Park, Mr. Leys had been Technology Manager at Hercules Incorporated from August 1985 to April 1990; and prior to 1985 he had been a process engineer at The Mica Corp. from June 1983 to January 1985 and at Fortin Laminators from February 1982 to June 1983 and held various positions with Fortin Laminators from 1972 to 1982. Mr. Leys received a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from National University in San Diego, California.
