NEW ORLEANS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Textron Marine & Land Systems, an operating unit of Textron Systems, a Textron Inc. (NYSE: TXT) company, announced today that it has been appraised at a Capability Maturity Model® Integration (CMMI®) Maturity Level 3.
“Obtaining CMMI Level 3 demonstrates that we, as an organization, are dedicated to applying the program management and engineering excellence required to produce superior designs, products and services for our current and future customers”
CMMI Maturity Level 3 Certification is an internationally recognized process improvement maturity model given to organizations with rigorous and modern product development and services practices. Textron Marine & Land Systems demonstrated industry best practices, cohesively integrating management, engineering and technology activities across its operations.
