Verify Achieves SAS 70 Type 1 Certification
IRVINE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Verify, Inc., a leading global provider of supplier quality, supply chain management, and technical support services, announced the successful completion of Statement on Auditing Standards No. 70 (SAS 70) Type I Certification, which was completed by independent accounting and auditing firm Singer Lewak, LLP.
“We are proud to report that our internal control structure and security processes have been independently recognized to SAS 70 Type I Certification, without exceptions, further supporting Verify’s service integrity.”
SAS 70, an internationally recognized auditing standard developed by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), is used to report on the processing of transactions by service organizations.
Successful attainment of the SAS 70 Certification demonstrates Verify’s commitment to a robust internal control environment and its related processes in order to deliver assured information and solutions to customers and business partners. Verify also assists publicly-traded customers with their external audit procedures required by the Sarbanes-Oxley Act of 2002, by providing transparency and an opinion on Verify’s internal control framework.
“At Verify, providing the maintenance, exchange, and processing of information to support the transparent delivery of our proven solutions has long been a company commitment,” said Andre Wright, Verify, Inc.’s Chief Financial Officer. “We are proud to report that our internal control structure and security processes have been independently recognized to SAS 70 Type I Certification, without exceptions, further supporting Verify’s service integrity.”
