Cytec Engineered Materials Receives Silver Boeing Performance Excellence Award
WOODLAND PARK, N.J.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Cytec Industries Inc. (NYSE: CYT) announced today that three sites in its Engineered Materials business unit, Anaheim, California; Orange, California; and Greenville, Texas, have received 2010 Boeing Performance Excellence Awards. The Boeing Company issues these awards annually to recognize suppliers who have achieved superior performance. Cytec’s Anaheim, Orange and Greenville sites maintained a Silver composite performance rating for each month of the 12-month performance period, from Oct. 1, 2009, to Sept. 30, 2010.

Cytec’s Anaheim site supplies both adhesives and prepregs to Boeing programs. The Orange site supplies commercial prepregs to Boeing for aircraft interior and secondary structure applications. The Greenville site supplies secondary structural prepreg materials for Boeing legacy aircraft such as 777 and 737 and for key growth programs including 787 and 747-8.
