Solution Sources Programming takes Delivery of Teradyne’s TestStation LX for Testing High Pin Count, High Complexity Printed Circuit Board Technologies
NORTH READING, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Teradyne, Inc. (NYSE: TER) announces that Solution Sources Programming (SSP), a global leader in providing state-of-the-art test solutions for the high-tech, medical, military, industrial and consumer electronics industries, has taken delivery of the Teradyne® flagship in-circuit test system, the TestStation LX™.
“The TestStation LX is an important addition to our portfolio of in-circuit test solutions”
SSP selected the latest version of the TestStation, the TS124LX, because its high pin count capacity and advanced sixth generation technologies meet the demands of manufacturers that design printed circuit boards with high net counts and complex technologies.
“The TestStation LX is an important addition to our portfolio of in-circuit test solutions”, said Dan Orlando, president of Solution Sources Programming. “SSP has a 23 year history of providing stream-lined and cost-efficient in-circuit, functional, and boundary scan test solutions for leading-edge electronic products. The advanced capabilities of the TestStation LX, along with the special training we have received from Teradyne, will help our large experienced staff of full-time engineers and programmers continue this tradition for our customers.”
“Teradyne is pleased that OEMs and EMS providers now have another choice for the development of high quality test solutions for their TestStation in-circuit test systems,” said Bobby Griffis, marketing director for Teradyne’s Commercial Board Test Group. “SSP is an important new West Coast Teradyne support partner that can satisfy the demands of high technology companies from coast-to-coast and deliver turnkey solutions to both domestic and international locations.”
“As part of this business collaboration, SSP has been added to the list of Teradyne Support Network (TSN) members," explained Griffis. "TSN helps Teradyne customers select high quality suppliers of complementary test solutions; including fixtures, programs and software. TSN members are reviewed regularly and must meet Teradyne’s high standards for quality, reliability and performance.”
