EMCOR Group, Inc. Awarded Three-Year Contract Extension for Facility Operations and Maintenance Support from NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory
NORWALK, Conn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--EMCOR Group, Inc. (NYSE: EME), a Fortune 500® leader in mechanical and electrical construction, energy infrastructure and facilities services for a diverse range of businesses, announced that its subsidiary EMCOR Government Services, Inc. has been awarded a three-year contract extension for facility operations and maintenance support at the NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory in Pasadena, California. EMCOR’s contract at the NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory began in October 2008 and will now be extended through September 2014.

EMCOR Government Services (EGS) will continue to perform a wide range of services at the NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory, including maintenance support to the Space Flight Operations Facility, diagnostic services including thermography and vibration analysis, HVAC operations and maintenance, custodial services, grounds maintenance, elevator maintenance, crane maintenance, and major equipment repair. Additionally EMCOR will provide services relating to disaster response, energy and water conservation.
