Eyelit Inc. Achieves Record Fourth-Quarter and Annual Revenues with Continued Profitability for 2010
TORONTO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Eyelit Inc., a manufacturing software provider for visibility, control, and coordination of manufacturing operations for the aerospace and defense, discrete electronics, semiconductor and solar industries, announced today that it recorded new highs in fourth-quarter revenue and annual revenue for 2010. The increase in revenue was primarily driven by the additional rollouts of Eyelit products in semiconductor and solar plants.
Highlights for the fourth quarter and year end of 2010 include:
- Revenue growth: Eyelit recognized its highest quarterly revenue in the company’s history for the fourth quarter of 2010. Eyelit also recorded a new high in annual revenue for 2010. In comparison with the same period in 2009, Eyelit saw revenue increases for each quarter, which marks the seventh consecutive year-over-year quarterly increase. A significant increase in revenues for services and support lead the growth. Eyelit concluded the fourth quarter and year end with an extremely healthy profit.
- Product enhancements: 2010 was a year of considerable product enhancements. Eyelit delivered new enhancements in partnership and collaboration with existing customers. These innovations in multi-site management and cross-factory execution have further strengthened Eyelit's enterprise-level capabilities. Eyelit has simplified, and has thereby advanced, global coordination and local execution for MES systems, making them an attainable reality. Other notable enhancements have leveraged the scalability of Eyelit's already capable systems for high–volume production in highly automated environments. When business needs dramatically change, Eyelit customers are now able to increase their system throughput without downtime or re-engineering by simply adding hardware to the application cluster, taking performance and adaptability to a whole new level.
"We are pleased with the new record highs in the last-quarter and annual revenues. We continue to see strong interest and demand for our manufacturing solutions across the industries we serve. We are also seeing increased interest from wafer fabs running PROMIS MES, which are looking to migrate to a new platform such as the Eyelit MES. We expect a record turnout of customers and stakeholders at our User Conference in August, where a former PROMIS MES customer will present how they were able to complete the migration to the Eyelit MES in just 60 days,” said Dan Estrada, Vice-President of Sales and Business Development.
