IQMS’ Latest Manufacturing ERP Software Release Keeps Clients Lean and Flexible in a Competitive Industry
PASO ROBLES, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--IQMS, designer and developer of manufacturing Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software, today announced the latest release of its EnterpriseIQ ERP solution. EnterpriseIQ 7.8.1 features more than 900 new tools and reports across all aspects of the software with a development focus on providing functionality and efficiency. Understanding the need to stay lean and competitive, the latest EnterpriseIQ release focuses on tools that keep manufacturers flexible, accurate and proactive.
“Everyone is very excited about our latest EnterpriseIQ release. The new functionality will continue to enhance how our clients run their businesses and advance our growth in new markets”
Development of EnterpriseIQ never stops at IQMS. Ninety percent of the updates and changes developed for the latest release were contributed directly from customers through IQMS’ online portal, Community Server. Direct collaboration with the client allows IQMS to deliver useful changes more quickly, increase functionality and take advantage of new and emerging industry technologies. Upgrades require very low maintenance as no third party vendors are involved, allowing manufacturers to quickly start using the system and realizing the benefits of the improvements.
“Everyone is very excited about our latest EnterpriseIQ release. The new functionality will continue to enhance how our clients run their businesses and advance our growth in new markets,” said Glenn Nowak, vice president at IQMS. “IQMS strives to give our clients a competitive edge by staying technologically current, affordable and accommodating.”
The new tools and features enhance all aspects of the software including quality management, statistical process control, shop floor synthesis, customer relationship management, scheduling, human resources and much more. A small sampling of the enhancements includes:
- Certified Employee option enforces special employee certification and training requirements assigned at the Bill of Material (BOM) level.
- Web-based Employee Portal gives employees 24/7 control with tools to review and approve their time cards, plus view pertinent benefits, deductions, payment history, contact information and adjustments to their W2s.
- Lot Control enhancements offer more in-depth lot control capabilities and expanded tracking tools for quality assurance.
- Job-Shop 2.0 expands off the successful Job-Shop module with enhancements designed to provide more status tracking capabilities and functions for popular Assembly applications.
- Assembly processes enhancements have increased flexibility to allow for substitutions and adjustments that need to be made “on the fly.”
- Mass Mailings Exclusion option saves time and redundant data entry with the simple click of button to adhere to expanding spamming requirements.
- Enhanced “virtual machine” grouping and creation of multiple configurations for multi-position mold frames is easier than ever with the EnterpriseIQ logical work center capability.
- Web-based Time & Attendance allows employees to log in from any computer on the plant floor with the Internet using their badge number or personal employee information.
