Baker Awarded MAA BWI Marshall On-Call Construction Services Contract
PITTSBURGH--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Michael Baker Jr., Inc., an engineering unit of Michael Baker Corporation (NYSE Amex: BKR), announced today that it has been awarded a five-year, $5 million contract by the Maryland Aviation Administration (MAA) to provide on-call construction management and inspection services to Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport (BWI Marshall).
Specifically, Baker will provide a complete range of construction management and inspection services at BWI Marshall to ensure minimal disruption to airport operations while maintaining security, quality, schedule, cost and safety related to construction projects.
