A New Direction in 3D Printing – Sponsored by Objet Geometries, Inc.
PolyJet Matrix™ Technology, a new direction in 3D printing, is the first technology that enables simultaneous jetting of different types of model materials.
Presented by John Cogswell, Applications Engineer, Objet Geometries, Inc.
1:30 PM - 2:30 PM EDT (10:30 AM - 11:30 AM PDT)
Taming the Complexity of Mechatronic Design
System-level simulation reduces the cost and time of developing mechatronic systems. Simulation exposes integration problems between embedded control software and electromechanical systems early in the design process when errors are easiest to correct. Engineers can verify and generate embedded software from the simulation model and eliminate errors caused by hand coding.
Presented by Tony Lennon, Industry Manager, MathWorks
Leveraging “Lean” with DFMA
While Lean Manufacturing has revolutionized the way many of the world's leading companies bring product to market, additional savings can be achieved if DFMA and Lean Manufacturing techniques are used together.
Presented by Nick Dewhurst, Executive Vice President, Boothroyd Dewhurst, Inc.
3:00 PM - 4:00 PM EDT (12:00 PM - 1:00 PM PDT)
So You Have Product Noise Issues… Now What?
While noise is a common problem in product design, many engineers don't feel truly comfortable in the world of acoustics. This presentation addresses the basics of noise control engineering – from noise measurement methodologies to troubleshooting and correction.
Presented by Marc Marroquin, Telecom Account Manager, HEAD Acoustics
