Internet Veteran Glen Drury to Lead Travelzoo Local Deals in Europe
LONDON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Travelzoo Inc. (NASDAQ: TZOO), a global internet media company, today announced UK internet veteran Glen Drury has joined Travelzoo® as senior vice president of Travelzoo Local Deals in Europe. Drury reports to Travelzoo's CEO Chris Loughlin and now oversees all aspects of Travelzoo’s merchant and commercial relationships in Europe.

Before joining Travelzoo, Drury co-founded and was CEO of Keynoir, a UK-based daily deals publisher. Before founding Keynoir, Drury served as CEO at Kelkoo, one Europe's first and largest online price comparison websites. From January 2006 to October 2007, Glen Drury was regional vice president of Yahoo! for northern Europe. From 2000 to 2006, he served in a number of senior commercial roles at Kelkoo.

In addition to Drury, Travelzoo has appointed three other senior managers to further bolster the European Local Deals expansion. Rene Freling is promoted to head of Local Deals, UK; Florian Dietrich is promoted to head of business development, Local Deals, Germany and Christopher Caussin, formerly managing director Kelkoo France, joins Travelzoo as general manager, Local Deals France and Spain.
Travelzoo has published 135 Local Deals in 27 European cities since January 2011.
