MEGA and DIA to Conduct Enterprise Architecture Workshop
WASHINGTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--MEGA, industry leader in enterprise architecture (EA), will discuss and demonstrate the newest EA technology solutions for federal agencies at the DoDIIS Worldwide Conference in Detroit May 1-5, 2011.
“Operating Application Dashboards from the DoDIIS Enterprise Architecture”
During the event, Lance O’Neill, applications technical officer at the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) and MEGA’s EA experts, Kevin Costa and Blake Nelson, will present “Operating Application Dashboards from the DoDIIS Enterprise Architecture” at an educational session. The MEGA Suite will be used in the training workshop to demonstrate how to measure, manage, and improve mission agility.
Conference attendees can also arrange for private meetings with MEGA by contacting [email protected].
The MEGA Suite provides a complete view of the processes of an organization, and the technology that supports it. This helps organizations, especially government agencies, analyze, plan, and respond to changes quickly. MEGA has implemented easy mapping to the Federal Enterprise Architecture Framework (FEAF) and offers specialized products for government needs, helping agencies address Office of Management and Budget (OMB) and Department of Defense (DoD) reporting requirements.
The MEGA Defense and Security software solution was developed specifically to help organizations collaboratively describe and manage large system architectures in accordance with internationally recognized standards. It includes the MEGA Suite for DoD Architecture Framework (DoDAF) and the MEGA Suite for NATO Architecture Framework (NAF), which provide repository-based tools to manage EA and process optimization programs, and the alignment of technology resources with the frameworks.
The MEGA Suite is used by the DIA, NASA, and several agencies within the U.S. Departments of Agriculture, Homeland Security, and Transportation. MEGA provides specialized expertise for government agencies and serves as a resource for federal enterprise architects and senior agency executives.
