Standex’s Spincraft Earns Rolls-Royce Energy Sector Supplier of the Year Award
SALEM, N.H.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Standex International Corporation (NYSE:SXI) today announced that the Spincraft units of its Engineering Technologies Group have been named Energy Sector Supplier of the Year by Rolls-Royce. Spincraft supplies complex assemblies and components for use across a wide range of the Rolls-Royce portfolio of land-based gas turbine engine applications.
“We congratulate the winners and look forward to continuing our successful relationship.”
Rolls-Royce established its Supplier of the Year Award program three years ago to recognize the contribution and commitment of its supply base to continuous improvement with a focus on performance. Spincraft earned this year’s Energy Sector award by demonstrating continuous improvement in cost, quality and delivery, while also scoring highly in Rolls-Royce’s rigorous assessment of management performance and technology. The Spincraft units were one of only eight Rolls-Royce suppliers in an approximate supply base of 8,000 to receive recognition.
“Being selected out of Rolls-Royce’s global supply base as Energy Sector Supplier of the Year is a milestone achievement for Spincraft,” said Len Paolillo, President of the Standex Engineering Technologies Group. “Spincraft and Rolls-Royce have been working collaboratively to reduce costs and enhance product quality and delivery, and this award demonstrates the performance improvements we have achieved together in all three of these areas. The Spincraft team is dedicated to delivering even greater value to the Energy Sector along with the other Rolls-Royce business sectors in the years ahead.”
“The Rolls-Royce Supplier of the Year awards recognize the contribution and continuous commitment of strategic partners and suppliers in support of the Rolls-Royce supply chain strategy and, ultimately, the performance of our product range,” said Mike Orris, Chief Procurement Officer, Rolls-Royce. “We congratulate the winners and look forward to continuing our successful relationship.”
