BROOKSVILLE, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sparton Corporation (NYSE: SPA), a manufacturer of complex and reliable electronic and electro-mechanical products, sub-assemblies and related services to the highly regulated Defense & Security, Aerospace, Medical, and Industrial markets, today announces that its Complex Systems business received an initial contract manufacturing award from Tampa Microwave, located in Tampa, Florida.

Tampa Microwave is a leading provider of man portable and VSAT satellite terminals, specialized communications test equipment, microwave modules / components and custom communication system design services.
