When Time Equals Money, IQMS Customers Save with Automated Sales Configuration Templates

PASO ROBLES, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--IQMS, designer and developer of manufacturing Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software, today unveiled an enhanced customizable sales configuration module as part of their recent EnterpriseIQ 7.8.1 software release. No longer will manufacturers have to laboriously pre-construct static Bills of Material (BOMs) for every possible product combination they offer. With IQMS’ enhanced sales configuration module, manufacturers simply upload their individual components into the templates once at implementation to start easily creating custom orders for their clients.

The module’s configurable product base allows for multiple scenarios and combinations to become more automated. From the customized configuration, manufacturers can look at their available inventory, work center capacity and timetables, calculate pricing and once approved, convert to a sales order with the click of a button. When time equals money, the new sales configuration module’s benefits are clear.

Like 90 percent of the new features and improvements made to the latest EnterpriseIQ release, the sales configuration module idea was contributed directly by customers on IQMS’ online portal, Community Server. Direct collaboration with the client allows IQMS to deliver useful changes more quickly, increase functionality and take advantage of new and emerging industry technologies.
