AIS Releases NEMA and IP Rated Industrial Flat Panel LCD Monitors Equipped Resistive Touch Screen for Industrial and Factory Automation Applications
IRVINE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--American Industrial Systems, Inc. (AIS) is an ISO 9001:2008 certified supplier and manufacturer of industrial flat panel LCD monitors for manufacturing execution system (MES), factory automation and process control applications. The rugged HMI touch screen displays feature industrial grade LCD panels with a long life cycle and can be combined with standard industrial PC’s. AIS utilizes industrial grade displays for high performance, superior reliability in industrial conditions, and long product life cycle to ensure product availability for several years, critical for development and servicing. AIS’ rugged HMI color LCD displays are designed to withstand high temperatures, vibration, dirt and dust typical in harsh factory floor environments.
The displays are available in 6.4”, 8.4”, 10.4”, 12.1”, 15”, 17” and 19” sizes and come with a NEMA 4/ IP65 rated front bezel, keeping out dirt in dust. HMI devices reduce the complexity of operations by eliminating the cumbersome traditional static physical button interfaces into a fully customizable touch screen display. Additional touchscreen technologies are available such as capacitive, surface acoustic wave (SAW), and infrared (IR) technologies.
AIS’ touchscreen displays are encased in a rugged industrial steel housings, designed to handle industrial environments and temperatures (0 to 50 C). Wide temperature HMI displays (-20C to +60C) are also available for extreme applications. Only industrial grade LCD panels are utilized, guaranteeing product life cycle longevity, stability, and reliability.
