EAST AURORA, N.Y.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Astronics Corporation (NASDAQ: ATRO), a leader in advanced, high performance lighting, electrical power and automated test systems for the global aerospace and defense industries, announced today that its Luminescent Systems Canada Inc. (LSI Canada) subsidiary has been selected by Rockwell Collins as the 2011 Human Machine Interface Supplier of the Year. This is the second year in a row that LSI Canada has received this award.

The Supplier of the Year award is an acknowledgement of significant contributions made during the year by suppliers to Rockwell Collins and is based on quality, delivery, total cost of ownership, lead time and customer service. The award was presented to Astronics at the 2011 Rockwell Collins Annual Supplier Conference in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
