IQMS Named a Finalist in Two 2011 American Business AwardsSM Categories
PASO ROBLES, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--IQMS, a leader in the design and development of manufacturing Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software, today announced it has been named a finalist in two 2011 American Business Awards categories. More than 2,800 nominations were received for consideration in 40 categories and IQMS emerged as a clear leader in the Most Innovative Company of the Year category and the New Product of the Year (Manufacturing) category for its EnterpriseIQ 7.8.1 release.
“We have been surpassing the competition in innovation for years and it is nice to be recognized for it. But regardless if we take home a trophy next month, we will continue to provide our clients the highest level of support and technological innovation.”
To be named a Most Innovative Company of the Year* finalist is no small feat. IQMS continually pushes the boundaries of business innovation by focusing on its customers. IQMS’ client suggestion portal, Community Server, is a cutting-edge way to receive feedback and deliver practical changes more quickly while also taking advantage of emerging industry technologies. Additionally, IQMS’ mobile application, developed by the company’s elite automation group, is innovating the way manufacturers run their businesses. The ability to receive up-to-the minute, accurate production information from anywhere at any time is changing the way shop floors are run.
IQMS was named a finalist in the New Product of the Year category for the newest version of its manufacturing ERP software solution. EnterpriseIQ 7.8.1 features more than 900 new tools and reports across all aspects of the software with a development focus on providing functionality and efficiency. Understanding the need to stay lean and competitive, the latest EnterpriseIQ release focuses on tools that keep manufacturers flexible, accurate and proactive. The new features enhance all aspects of the software including quality management, statistical process control, shop floor synthesis, customer relationship management, scheduling, human resources and much more.
“Being recognized as a finalist by an award program as prestigious as The Stevies is very exciting,” said Glenn Nowak, vice president of IQMS. “We have been surpassing the competition in innovation for years and it is nice to be recognized for it. But regardless if we take home a trophy next month, we will continue to provide our clients the highest level of support and technological innovation.”
This year’s Stevie Award winners will be announced during the annual gala on Monday, June 20 at the Marriott Marquis Hotel in New York City. More than 600 executives from across the USA are expected to attend. The event will benefit Camfed (camfed.org), which fights poverty and HIV/AIDS in Africa by educating girls and empowering women to become leaders of change. The ceremonies will be broadcast on radio nationwide by the Business TalkRadio Network.
