APEX Selects Ink to Produce New Magazine, to Be Led by Jonathan Norris, Former Airbus Head of Cabin Design
LONDON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Ink, a world leader in connecting companies with travellers, today announces that it has been selected by the Airline Passenger Experience Association (APEX) to produce the association’s quarterly magazine and other APEX media, and is appointing Jonathan Norris as Executive Director and Editor-in-Chief.
“Receiving timely, quality news and views from APEX is critically important for our members, and we are confident that this new partnership will deliver on that and exceed expectations”
APEX is a non-profit association that brings together over 400 of the world’s leading airlines and suppliers committed to the development of new, innovative services to enhance the airline passenger experience, including inflight entertainment, communications, efficient check-in and boarding, comfortable seating and other products and services.
Ink will be responsible for much of the APEX media platform, including the magazine (both printed and online), bi-monthly industry news digest, a daily APEX Expo publication, the establishment of a magazine blog and associated social media channels.
“We are delighted with this new phase in our relationship with APEX,” says Jeffrey O’Rourke, Chief Executive of Ink. “Under Jonathan’s leadership, Ink will take responsibility for all editorial content, creative design, marketing, advertising sales and printing of the magazine and contribute to the entire APEX media platform.”
“The APEX Board members are excited by Ink's appointment, as well as by the energy Ink has put into developing a broader communications plan for our membership, beyond the association's magazine," APEX President Patrick Brannelly reported. "Receiving timely, quality news and views from APEX is critically important for our members, and we are confident that this new partnership will deliver on that and exceed expectations”.
Jonathan has an impressive track record, most recently at Airbus, where he held the position of Vice President Cabin Design Office and led the development of world-class cabin interiors and cabin systems for all Airbus aircraft programmes. In addition, he is a regular speaker at industry conferences/forums on a wide range of cabin, passenger and crew issues.
