aPriori Continues EMEA Expansion
CONCORD, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--aPriori, a provider of product cost management software solutions for discrete manufacturers, today announced the expansion of its team in Europe, including a new Director of EMEA. The company has opened new offices in Strasbourg, France; Hamburg, Germany; and Surrey, England. These moves will further accelerate aPriori’s growth in Europe and complement its existing partner relationships there.
“By adding to our direct sales team here, we will be able to further accelerate that growth, better support our channel partners’ business development efforts and service our growing customer base.”
Arnaud Walburger, aPriori’s new Director of EMEA, joins the company from Autodesk, a leading CAD/CAM software company, and Moldflow, makers of CAE software for industrial simulations. Moldflow was acquired by Autodesk in 2009. Most recently, Walburger was responsible for Autodesk’s CAE business in France. Prior to that, he held a number of sales management and executive roles across Europe at Moldflow. In his new role at aPriori, Walburger will be responsible for developing the company across EMEA, playing a direct sales role in France and supporting his experienced sales team in Germany and the UK.
In addition, aPriori has added two members to its EMEA sales team. Holger Alexander, based in Hamburg, Germany, will be responsible for Northern Germany and the Netherlands, reporting to Walburger. Most recently, Alexander was with SIGMA Engineering GmbH, a German software company, where he was a key account manager for plastics injection molding simulation software solutions. Prior to that, he worked in sales executive roles at Moldflow Corporation and Parametric Technology Corporation (PTC), a product lifecycle management company, where he was responsible for the Netherlands, Belgium and Northern Germany.
Myles Peyton also joins aPriori as Northern European Sales Director, based in the U.K. and reporting to Walburger. His previous experience includes European roles at Total Immersion, Autodesk, PTC and Moldflow where he helped the companies achieve record growth in their first few years of operations in his region. Peyton will be tasked with quickly establishing the UK operations of aPriori to meet growing market demand.
These additions will further accelerate the company’s growth in Europe and complement its existing partnerships there. Last September, the company added two new resellers in Europe: Applied CAE Ltd., one of the leading providers of Computer Aided Engineering (CAE) and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) solutions and services, and Majenta Solutions Ltd., one of Europe’s most respected providers of product development, manufacturing and PLM information management and IT infrastructure solutions. Both resellers are headquartered in England and have offices across continental Europe. aPriori also has a long standing European channel relationship with Paramex DTC.
“Our channel partners have done an outstanding job establishing aPriori in the European market and building strong demand for our product cost management solutions,” said Stephanie Feraday, president and CEO of aPriori. “By adding to our direct sales team here, we will be able to further accelerate that growth, better support our channel partners’ business development efforts and service our growing customer base.”
