Jaguar Freight Services Names George M. Saives to New Position of Vice President – Global Sales
VALLEY STREAM, N.Y.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jaguar Freight Services, a leader at designing and managing custom transportation systems and strategies that transform logistics and shipping services into a world-class supply chain solution, has taken the latest step in the enhancement of its global organization by naming George M. Saives to the newly created position of Vice President – Global Sales. A logistics and distribution industry veteran with extensive operating and sales management experience as an independent consultant and as an in-house sales executive for a number of major global companies, Mr. Saives joined Jaguar in New York effective June 06, 2011.

As Jaguar Freight’s senior leader to drive global sales strategy, capability, and new business delivery, Mr. Saives will be responsible for installing a global sales capability across the company’s worldwide organization. His areas of focus include defining a global sales strategy that identifies target sectors and channels, as well as recommending complementary marketing activity. He will also establish sales goals and policies, benchmark sales effectiveness and implement performance management and assessment.

Since 2008 Mr. Saives has been President of Corporate Acuity LLC , an entrepreneurial sales consulting firm that developed solutions for the worldwide supply chain industry. Prior to founding Corporate Acuity LLC, he was Vice President Sales – Domestic & International Freight Forwarding of Thermo Fisher Scientific’s Priority Solutions International unit, overseeing development of international sales and delivery infrastructures to serve customers in the high tech, automotive and government sectors. Mr. Saives was Senior Vice President, Sales – North America for Seko Worldwide, a leading global freight transportation and logistics provider with offices in 60 countries. He also has held sales leadership positions with global transportation and logistics company AIT Worldwide Logistics, and with SonicAir Couriers before and after its acquisition by United Parcel Service.
Mr. Saives holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from State University of New York at Plattsburgh and is a member of the Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals and the Air Forwarders Association.
