Middleton Aerospace in Haverhill, MA, Achieves ISO 14001 Certification

Magellan Aerospace Corporation announced today that its wholly-owned subsidiary in Haverhill, MA., Middleton Aerospace, has achieved the globally recognized ISO 14001 certification for its Environmental Management System.
ISO 14001 certification requires the development of a formalized Environmental Management System (EMS) and a review by a third party auditor to demonstrate that the EMS meets rigorous international standards for minimizing the company's impact on the environment. The EMS of Middleton Aerospace must demonstrate a commitment to comply with all applicable environmental laws and regulations, continual improvement in minimizing environmental impact of operations and products, and motivation of employees to take personal accountability for protecting the environment and creating a safe and healthy workplace. Only companies with excellent environmental programs qualify for this globally recognized certification.
ISO 14001 is a standard created by the International Organization for Standardization that establishes requirements and guidelines for Environmental Management Systems (EMS). ISO is a non-governmental developer of world standards for business, government and society.
