PROS Announces Agenda for China Revenue Management Conference

HOUSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--PROS (NYSE: PRO), the world leader in pricing and revenue management software, today announced plans for its seventh-annual China conference. This year’s event, scheduled for June 8-10, will be held in Guiyang, located in the Guizhou province. The interactive symposium provides delegates with real-world, innovative revenue management experiences and best practices through case studies, group exercises and practitioner insights. The conference is conducted exclusively in Mandarin.

“Participation in the conference continues to grow as Chinese airlines adopt revenue management best practices as a strategic component in their global growth strategies.”

The 2011 event is co-sponsored by China Southern Airlines, the largest airline in The People’s Republic of China. China Southern is a long-time PROS partner and a member of the SkyTeam global airline alliance. The annual event attracts representatives from Mainland China’s largest airlines, including Air China, China Eastern Airlines, Hainan Airlines, Air Macau and Hong Kong Airlines.

“Revenue management is critically important to China Southern and to other participating conference partners,” said China Southern President Tan Wangeng. “As our country’s airlines grow and expand service to other markets around the world, revenue management becomes even more important to our long-term success. The PROS annual conference offers opportunities to learn about the latest advances in revenue management, specifically for our market. We appreciate the opportunity to again co-sponsor this annual event.”
