Republic Airways Names Cliff Van Leuven Vice President, Customer Service for Frontier Airlines
INDIANAPOLIS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Republic Airways Holdings, Inc. (NASDAQ: RJET) today announced that it has named Cliff Van Leuven vice president, Customer Service to oversee its Frontier Airlines branded operations. Jerry Balsano, Republic Airways vice president, Customer Service, will continue to focus on the customer service needs of the Company’s legacy partners: American Airlines, Continental Airlines, Delta, United Airlines and US Airways.

In his new role, Van Leuven reports to Republic Airways Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer Wayne Heller. Van Leuven is responsible for customer service staff and functions at the carrier’s hub operations in Denver, Milwaukee and Kansas City and the more than 70 airports that make up the Frontier Airlines network in the U.S., Mexico and Costa Rica.

Van Leuven, an airline industry veteran, joined Frontier Airlines in 2004 as vice president of Customer Service. Prior to that, he held the position of vice president, Customer Service at Midwest Airlines and various leadership roles in 20 years at Northwest Airlines. Prior to this appointment, he served as Managing Director, Airport Customer Service. He earned a bachelor of arts in mass communications from the University of South Florida.
