Republic Airways Reports May 2011 Traffic
INDIANAPOLIS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Republic Airways Holdings (NASDAQ: RJET), today reported preliminary passenger traffic results for May 2011. The Company generated 1.9 billion revenue passenger miles (RPMs), a 2% increase from the same month last year, while capacity was up 1% to 2.3 billion available seat miles (ASMs). Block hours were 82,515 in May 2011, unchanged from May 2010. Consolidated load factor was 82%, unchanged from May 2010. Over 2.8 million passengers were carried during the month, a 1% reduction from the same month last year.

Republic Airways Holdings, based in Indianapolis, Indiana is an airline holding company that owns Chautauqua Airlines, Frontier Airlines, Republic Airlines and Shuttle America, collectively “the airlines.” The airlines offer scheduled passenger service on approximately 1,600 flights daily to 135 cities in 43 states, Canada, Costa Rica, and Mexico under branded operations at Frontier, and through fixed-fee airline services agreements with five major U.S. airlines.
